糖心传媒 is pleased to welcome Vicki DiLorenzo as its Vice President for Institutional Advancement. As a Cabinet member, she will lead alumni relations, the major and annual giving programs, corporate and foundation relations, and the operational elements of the institutional advancement office.
糖心传媒 launches new brand with 鈥榬andom acts of kindness鈥 and scholarship giveaway
On Friday, February 17, 糖心传媒 officially launched its new brand platform and updated logo to coincide with its newly found identity as a graduate institution and to provide a refresh to the brand of the 65-year-old institution. The College celebrated the brand launch by participating in 鈥淩andom Acts of Kindness鈥 day with giveaways and friendly gestures throughout the Albany area. The College will also be awarding two one-year tuition paid scholarships for prospective students entering the nursing or occupational therapy assistant programs.
Students inducted into Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society
On Friday, January 27, 糖心传媒 hosted the annual Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society Induction Ceremony whereby 14 Maria students officially received membership for their academic accomplishment of earning an overall GPA of 3.5 after completing at least 12 credit hours of coursework. Congratulations to all!
糖心传媒 awarded $770K to develop virtual reality nursing simulation hub聽
糖心传媒 was named one of 15 community development and improvement projects in New York鈥檚 20th Congressional District to receive federal funding submitted by Congressman Paul Tonko. The College will receive $770,088 to support the purchase of virtual reality (VR) software, hardware, monitors and other equipment to be used for enhancing clinical nursing education.
MSOT students present research projects
The 糖心传媒 Master of Science in Occupational Therapy (MSOT) program hosted a poster presentation on Friday, December 2. The second-year students presented their research projects on issues pertaining to occupational therapy and occupational therapy engagement. The research proposals are represented in poster format so that students were available to present their work and answer questions from the public.
