Welcome one and all to a new academic year at ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ in Albany, NY!
With the freshness of a new semester, I got thinking about a fresh new year of ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ Blog posts. And as the ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ Blog host, I want to use this opportunity to invite anyone interested in writing a post or several blog posts to join the process with me. The Blog is a place where you can share your ideas, interests, insights and ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½â€™s unique identity from your perspective—student, staff member, administrator, or faculty.
As a Maria blogger, you could write about College-related events, programs, tips for academic success, College history, your own story or any number of topics. In the past year, since launching the Maria blog, we have featured posts focusing on the College garden, being a student after military service, the city of Albany where the College is located, Pokémon Go, the Maria mission and the Albany, NY area where the College is located, tips for managing a course effectively, the value of reading to children, and much more.Â
To become a Maria blogger, please submit a blog post in a Word document to me at: [email protected]. Also include your name and background at the College (student, faculty, staff, or alumni). Please email me if you have questions. I look forward to a new academic year and a lot of new ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ blog posts!
Until next time…
Anne
